Tube Seamless St Steel

Seamless tubes are as defined – they do not have a welded seam. The tubing is manufactured through an extrusion process where the tube is drawn from a solid stainless steel billet and extruded into a hollow form.

 Tubing is further shaped through pilgering, a cold rolling process, or cold drawing.

Used In the Oil & Gas industry, seamless tubing is used primarily for control lines, chemical injection, and sub-sea safety valves.

The Chemical Process and Instrumentation industry also has popular applications for seamless tubing including: Steam & heat trace bundles, flow measurement & sensing and fluid & gas transfer.
